CVTHVUS #2

CVTHVUS #2
Featuring special guest Gonçalo Duarte

Cats are worshiped since the beginning of time. It is their destiny to rule the world in the future. You WILL obey. You WILL cater to their every need.
But the present is tainted, and to make sure they rule, they will come from the future to fix it. For good or bad, beware.

Cantamos Pessoas Vivas

"We Sing (=Preach) Live People"

Music by Quarteto 1111, a 70's portuguese band.
Their lyrics tried to reach people to rebel against political and social suffocation and power abuse.

Vilar de Mouros, often considered the portuguese Woodstock (inspite of its much smaller size) was, as the
North American festival, a trigger to get people to experience themselves through music, peaceful manifestations
and even drugs and sex, and to get to know, and fight for, real freedom; in more than one way, it was a way for
people to escape the tough reality, and a major factor to fighting for their rights, and eventually to the events that
followed - such as the Carnation Revolution in Portugal (1974).

Exhibiton: an informational and nostalgic recreation of both festivals' spirit, through old articles, festival posters, photos, police reports, LP vinyls of bands that played in both festivals, and even dirt and weeds, recreating the physical space, all in a small corner of our university.
